About Lycette Care

Lycette Care is a family owned business offering a host of support services for adults in North Devon that has been operating for over 20 years. Barbara and Simon Haywood have been running and managing the business over those years and have developed an extensive knowledge of how best to provide modern living and accommodation support services to suit a wide range of needs.

Over the years we have recruited and retained excellent and experienced members of staff and we now have over 80 dedicated team members, while we currently provide care and support to 39 people.

I am very impressed with the overall care and knowledge of the staff at the Warren. The carers, nurses, cleaners, office staff, management, activities organisers, cooks and maintenance men are friendly, helpful and welcoming, making the whole experience of visiting and having a relative living there, pleasant and above all, fun! I would not hesitate to recommend The Warren to someone looking for a good nursing home.

My mum has been at the Warren for 2 years now ,she has reicieved excellent care from all of the staff especially from Hayley and Raquel . The management team are also very approachable and are sympathetic to any concerns.

The Warren staff and management are very caring and helpful. We are always made to feel welcome and our requests for information are always responded to promptly. My brother is very well looked after here.

The Warren is a small, friendly and welcoming nursing home. The staff are skilled, kind and attentive. As a family we are kept well informed and any requests, concerns or questions are addressed in good time. Family and friends are made very welcome when visiting.

We moved our mother to The Warren nursing home after our father died in order that she could be nearer to one of her sons. She has advanced dementia and is immobile and had previously been in a larger purpose built home. Moving her to The Warren has we believe proved to be beneficial her, it is small, well organised and feels like a ’home’ The staff have taken time to try and get to know and understand her needs, interests and as a result we find that despite her advanced dementia The Warren provides a really good ‘home’ for mother, one we trust and can rely on. We very much appreciate the help and support of all the staff at The Warren in caring for her.

All the staff were amazing during Jamie's short stay with the home, the love and compassion which was shown to us and Jamie was incredible. Simon and all the staff were a comfort to us during Jamie's final hours . Thank you

Been two visited a good friend I know for years and the care home is a lovely Polite and friendly staff there and lovely garden and you sit out in the sun chill and i got to say they looking after my friend really well good customer service

From the day my dad was admitted to the warren he received impeccable care. All staff treated him like family and i cant thank you enough for the dignity and compassion you have shown him and us.

Not really a review as such.
Just to say a big Thank You to Kervin (one of your lovely employees) for looking after my phone today because I stupidly left it on the bus!
I really appreciate it. I'm very lucky.
